The internationally well-known Forbes magazine has published
some 263 individuals on the list of dollar billionaires, including Baykar
Technology's CEOs, Sulcuk Bayraktar and Haluk Bayraktar.
With its updated list, Forbes magazine has shown an increase in wealth among billionaires worldwide. According to the data received in December 2023, 263 new names working in the software, technology, and manufacturing sectors have been added to the list that is published yearly. These individuals, with a combined worth of $510 billion (or an average of $1.9 billion), hail from 32 countries. This year, Forbes magazine is publishing its 38th edition.
According to the list, the billionaires' wealth increased by $2 trillion and reached $14.2 trillion. The collective wealth of the Turkish billionaires is estimated to be around $56.1 billion.
The wealthiest person in the world is Bernard Arnault, the
Chief Executive of LVMH, with $233 billion worth.
Arnault's wealth, which is approximately $22 billion more
than a year ago, is derived from his firms, which include Louis Vuitton,
Tiffany & Co, Christian Dior, and Sephora. The wealthiest of the American
billionaires, with a claim of approximately $9.1 billion and founder of the
fast-food chain Raising Cane's, Todd Graves takes the very first spot on the
list.
The richest among the Chinese are Maggie Gu, Molly Miao, and
Ren Xiaoqing, who are the founders of the global powerhouse, Shein.
They command an estimated net worth of $4.2 billion each.
The richest newcomer in the list is Andrea Pignataro of Italy, the Chief
Executive Officer of Ion Trading.

Murat Ulker, a Board Member of Yıldız Holding, was declared
Türkiye's richest with an estimated fortune of $5.1 billion, ranking him 597th
on Forbes.
This was followed by Cemil Kazanci, Chairperson of Kazanci
Holding, with a net worth of $3.5 billion.
Ipek Kirac, a Board Member of Koc Holding, has a fortune of
$3.1 billion; Semahat Arsel is a Board Member of Koc Holding and has a fortune
of $3.0 billion.
Forbes Statistical Entry for Seculk Bayraktar
Bayraktar, 44 years old and an entrepreneur, became Türkiye's 24th and the world's 2410th wealthiest individual with a fortune of $1.2 billion. Selcuk Bayraktar was the highest taxpayer in Türkiye in the year 2022. Haluk Bayraktar ranks as Türkiye's 27th richest man and the world's 2545th, with a fortune of $1.1 billion.
